What you're seeing
The heatmap shows continuous amplitude gradients across the whole brain — not just at electrode points. Red/orange = over-activated, green = optimal, purple = low. Session 1 shows a brain dominated by frontal red, a classic dysregulation pattern. Session 8 shows the same brain after 7 LENS sessions — mostly green, with only one remaining hotspot.
The natural gradient
A regulated brain has a natural posterior-to-anterior amplitude slope — quieter at the back, gently louder toward the front. When the frontal region is disproportionately hot (red), the gradient is disrupted. LENS restores this natural pattern by allowing the nervous system to reorganize its own electrical activity.
Reading the map
The ★ marker shows the Highest Amplitude Site — LENS always treats this location first. Notice how the HAS shifts from Fz (52μV, red) in Session 1 to Fz (28μV, amber) in Session 8 — it's still the highest site, but dramatically calmer. The remaining Fp2 hotspot is the next treatment target.

What it means: TBR measures slow drowsy waves (theta) vs. fast focused waves (beta). A ratio above 3.0 signals inattention and is the primary ADHD biomarker. Your ratio has dropped from 3.2 → 1.8 — entering the healthy focused range.

Clinical Insights
Pattern recognition · session 8
🧠
Frontal amplitude normalizing. Fz remains the highest amplitude site (28.4μV), but has dropped from a baseline of 34.6μV — indicating frontal lobe regulation is improving. This typically correlates with reduced overthinking and anxiety.
🌊
Alpha wave increase (+11%). Rising alpha power in the 8–12Hz range supports the reported improvements in calm focus and sleep. This is a primary target outcome in LENS protocols.
🔄
Suppression in optimal range. Flexibility (suppression) at 52% is within the healthy 35–70% window — the brain is no longer "stuck" in rigid patterns and is transitioning more fluidly between states.
😴
Sleep score correlates with EEG improvement. Sleep quality rose from 4.1 → 8.2 across sessions, tracking closely with the drop in mean total amplitude — consistent with published LENS research outcomes.
📈
4 sessions to target. At the current trajectory, NeuroSync™ score is projected to reach 82–85 by session 12, well above the 80-point wellness threshold based on peer averages.
